Survivor's Remorse: ReCap S2 Ep.4 "Homebound"
This week on Survivor's Remorse, Cam and Reggie take the show on the road--back to Beantown. Normally a trip to Boston wouldn't be a problem but it is. Since missing six games because of Hurricane M-Chuck, Cam is in the eye of a slump and only the performance of several seemingly ridiculous superstitious acts are the solutions to his horrific losing streak. REGGIE!!!!!!
Upon arrival, Cam finds that his hotel room faces the wrong side of the Charles River. The last time the Atlanta team blew the home town away, the River flowed in the other direction. REGGIE!!!!

Survivor's Remorse: The REcap Season 2 EP. 3
Imagine having to go to your son, or your breadwinner for approval for a vaginal rejuvenation surgery.
If your name is Cassie Calloway, a woman who birthed and raised a super-star, mega-rich son, you may have to. You see, insurance doesn't cover vaginal rejuvenation and because you are living off of your son's largess you may have to disguise desired enhancements as a dire need.
Well, once your son figures out that your desire is not dire, you may have some maneuvering to do.
Cam is back on the court. M-chuck is is doing public service and Cassie is just doing.
After hearing Mama Cassie get her groove back with her conquest, Mama decides that she needs to tighten things up downtown. She doesn't traumatize her son with the details, only that she has to have a medical procedure to save her life.
Mama Cassie isn't lying. The procedure she looks to have will save her life, a life put off to have children at a young age and train them in the way they must go.
What happens this week is why we love Mama Cassie. She's bold, brassy but most importantly self-aware and ready to take on the spoils of being rich. It doesn't matter what her family thinks, she's going for self and if Cam knows what's best he better rally the rest of his team and get on board.
After minimal coaching and TMI, Cam agrees to pay for Cassie's wishes. His issue, it's Mama and her surgery will not go off without the Calloway brand of brash. In a post drug induced stupor Cassie displays her new vagina before Calloway Court. TMI.
The lesson: Parents are people not perfect. Even after raising you they have a life to raise of their own. And while you may or may not fund that lifestyle it doesn't matter. What matters is every individual right to pursue their brand of happiness and if you are the one footing the bill, so be it. It doesn't negate their right to choose.
Foot the bill and shut the **** up. In the words of Kelly Price & Mama Cassie, "It's my time to shine..."

Survivor's Remorse: The ReCap "You Punched The Money"
"You Punched The Money". The classic line for the evening came from Mama Cassie Calloway, ferociously funny played by Tichina Arnold. Cassie is truly the Calloway's secret weapon.
Episode 2 opens with the new "butler" asking cousin Reggie for an eleven thousand dollar advance, a quarter of his salary to help his ailing mother who'd just fallen from a get-a-way rolling luggage cart at the airport. Reggie offers as much empathy as he possible can, but sorry, Bro "a three-thousand dollar advance is our limit." New butler man rolls away grateful for any help offered.
Coca-Cola courts Cam Calloway by placing a complimentary vending machine of Coke products in the house. Cam thinks the family is too flippant with the abundant blessings around and about the house and urges the family to be more mindful. Cam makes the family pay fifty cents (.50) per can with plans to donate the proceeds to charity.
That'll teach the Calloways to be ungrateful or so Cam thinks, until he gets a whiff of hurricane M-Chuck. Incensed by a demand for fifty cents, Sister M-Chuck lands a right hook on Reggie's eye-socket that puts him out of the game for at least six (6) of the regular season. M-Chuck vs. Mayweather can't be far behind and my money is on M-Chuck. Reggie calls for the team doctor to come to the house to patch Cam up. Reggie also urges Cam and M-Chuck to get their lies together because along with the doctor, the team owner is going to want an explanation. I guess the new mantra and mission statement of not lying will kick in around, episode... 3?

Survivor's Remorse: Great Television The ReCap
Tonight, Season 2 of famed Starz Channel show Survivor's Remorse aired. It was outstanding and the preview to what we have to look forward to for a great season.
Created and Executive Produced by Mike O'Malley and LeBron James--in case you've been living under a television boulder--Survivor's Remorse is about an under-rated basketball player who soars to the top of the most coveted league in the world, the NBA. Cam makes sure he grabs a few family members along for the platinum meteoric ride to stardom. To the dismay of the league, Cam includes his savvy business smart cousin Reggie, who is far from the caricature the league could only hope for. Reggie doubles as Cam's manager and does an amazing job of keeping all moving parts working. However, Cam Calloway doesn't sit at the top without a hefty dose of guilt about having "made it" from the unrelenting streets of Boston.
